whao! i had the most wonderful dinner after so many years @...... yes, u got it! Hotel of the Year- COnrad International Centannial! (hope i spell correctly)
It was a fabulous dinner, with excellent services and fresh GOOD food! i must say the food was very good n the staffs make the place damn cozy and nice... a good place for grown up family n couples becos they have candlelights... but a little too dim for friends..
we had fresh n big mussels n oysters, crayfish, giant prawns.. i had 3 servings, how fresh do u think they are??
then was roast pumpkin soup.. n i never know pumpkin could be so tasty! sweet~
next was red skin potatoes, sashimi, sushi! yummy....
following... was chicken with orange slices.. orange was nice but the breast chicken meat not so.. i should have taken the lamb.. hahaha.. saw Diana and Jesse ate that..
Then the famous Cesear Salad! they had egg white, egg yolk(yes separated), croutons, plums, peach, apricots as side dishes. n not to miss the variety of cheeses.. Blue cheese, albraye..... chesse lovers would appreciate that!
i heard that the bun n bread was nice but i'm not a bread person in buffets, so i skip that.. i m more to seafood n cold dishes.. hee hee..
finally,the long awaited DESSERT! yummi... chocolate pudding, pralines chocolate, ice cream(mango shorbet, strawberry shorbert, vanilla, coconut), brownies, cream custard with citrus fruits, fruit cocktail, breadstik in choco pistachio/almond.. i dun know which nut was on it, eastern puddin that looks like bread pudding, plum fruit, mandarin orange.... i can say it is a lot of choco stuffs.. we had our fill in approx 1 hr.. hee hee.. of cos our fun chatting n with the manager..hahaha... nice staffs..
